The WayTooFast Racing Team is heading back to Glen Helen this Saturday for another fun-filled, rallyX day. We’ll be breaking in a brand-spanking-new set of Hankook tires for the event so bring on the water truck! It was definitely time for new shoes after Desert Storm.

The tendency of our power steering fluid to boil over and cause little bonfires under our hood has finally driven Kevin to replace the power steering pump on the Neon. We’ll see if the one yanked from the parts-car is up to the task or if it was a rack and pinion issue instead. We’re just trying to survive GH III and the following week’s JV rallyX, and then we’ll have plenty of time for solving the issue once and for all. For now, the “new” pump and a fresh, magic-baby-sock over the reservoir cap will have to suffice.
